Burke lived her childhood years in St. Louis, Missouri. Influenced by long
weekends spent at her grandparents' farm, she was a debutante who felt more at
home in the wind and tall grass than at cotillion dances. She received her degree
in sustainable agriculture, and River Song jewelry was born as a seasonal
reprieve from organic farming. Her jewelry blends wildness and elegance, the
union of her past and present. River carefully combines traditional elements,
luminous pearls, gems and metal into jewelry that captures the essence of the
